New Book Release: Allan Linder 20th Century and Beyond! Available at LULU.com

What makes an artist great? Struggle, determination, failure, or is it just raw talent. This question has been asked for centuries, and every art critic has a different answer. Follow the journey of notable American artist Allan Linder through three decades of artwork, as he hones his skill while overcoming life’s obstacles.

This fourth generation artist works within the precincts of paint on canvas, sculpture in many mediums, and drawing on paper. His work is exhibited and collected worldwide. Linder’s work ranges from abstract concepts, to his most recent paintings that depict realistic scenes of New York City in various seasons.

The subject matter ranges from moments of peaceful silence in a burgeoning and populated locale, to busy street scenes in the heart of Time Square. With more than 150 full color photographs of his most important work, this book is a compliment to any art history collection, and the topic of many conversations.

Congratulations Allan Linder. Great Work!

Two of our photographers that exhibited in You and Your Noise were recently featured in Popular Photography and American Photo Magazine. Congratulations! Philip Lee Harvey, and Tim Flach.

Artist OLAN once again featured in an article in NY ARTS Magazine.

That's what I'm talking about!

The exhibition "Art as Therapy" received a nice write up in Psychology Today. Excellent work to all artists that participated. Thanks Dr. Eisner.

A recent New York Times article featuring the work of artist OLAN. Keep up the good work.
Pop Music and Art Exhibition. "From making sculptures out of melted LPs, to creating album covers and music videos, to playing in their own bands, a new generation of artists is blurring the distinction between the worlds of pop music and fine art", writes art critic Barbara Pollack in the November 2002 issue in Art News.
